Erlebnisbad Mayrhofen

The adventure pool in Mayrhofen brings water fun for the whole family: water wall showers, underwater benches, massage jets, a 101 m long slide with a covered outdoor area provide a real experience. The excellent ambience in the sauna area brings the necessary relaxation after a strenuous day of skiing or a long hike through the Tux mountains.

In the Zillertal Bier BrauKunstHaus in Zell am Ziller, visitors have recently been able to experience Tyrolean beer culture up close. In a multimedia tour, man invented personal knowledge in an informative and at the same time familiar way, interesting people from the world of beer and inventing many a Zillertal secret.

Nature Park House Ginzling

The Nature Park House is located in the idyllic mountaineering village of Ginzling and, as a successful unity of architecture and nature, is a multifunctional meeting place for all mountain and nature lovers. The Nature Park House is easily accessible by public transport and an ideal starting point for hiking and mountain tours. A wonderful natural garden with many play and adventure areas and a bouldering facility invites you to linger.

New exhibition "Hidden Treasures" at the Ginzling Nature Park House

The exhibition extends over two floors and more than 500 m² and takes visitors on a unique journey through the geological history of the Zillertal Alps and shows the sparkling crystal treasures that have been created over millions of years inside the mountains. The focus is always on the people who have been travelling in the mountains for thousands of years to search for, find, mine and trade these treasures. Many exciting stories are told, especially using the examples of rock crystal and garnet. A large relief of the Zillertal Alps, interactive stations, fascinating installations such as the kaleidoscope and a mountain cinema are some of the highlights that await visitors ...

Visorium Mayrhofen

Experiences on 2,000m² - Escape rooms, laser tag and adventure golf, combined with local dishes in the in-house restaurant "Schnogerei" offer the opportunity to discover historical stories, legends as well as the culture and landmarks of the Zillertal from a new perspective.

Kabooom Kaltenbach - leisure center Zillertal

On a fabulous 3,200 m2, the focus is clearly on exercise, sport and fun. You can keep fit in the Zillertal with bouldering, bowling, squash, in the AIRPARC as well as in the Dancesation dance studio and on the outdoor facilities (fun court in summer, ice rink in winter).

Schlegeis reservoir and #Schlegeis 131

From the picturesque village of Ginzling, take the alpine road to the reservoir. There you will be impressed by the 131 m high Schlegeis dam, an imposing engineering structure. In summer, the reservoir is the ideal starting point for mountain hikes.

Stilluptal

The Stilluptal valley is located in the Zillertal Alps Nature Park and, at 17 kilometers, is the shortest of the four side valleys.
A winding toll road in the rear Zillertal leads with a gradient of up to 15 percent over a length of 8 km to the Stillup reservoir. This lies at an altitude of 1,116 m and was already built in 1966 with a length of 2.5 km. From Mayrhofen there is also a bus connection to Gasthof Wasserfall and to the Grüne Wand Hütte.

Zillergrund

The Zillergrund, located in the forefront of the high mountain nature park Zillertal Alps, is the source valley of the Zillertal and extends from "Maurach" about 20 km to the reservoir "Zillergründl". Take your time and let us tell you... Because the field names, which the inhabitants of the valley have given to their surroundings, tell us a lot about the life of the people in the spring valley in the past and today.

Zillertal mountain road

The Zillertal mountain road is one of the most beautiful alpine roads in Austria. It offers all visitors a magnificent drive up to an altitude of 2.020 m, either with your own car, coach or local bus. It gives you an impression of the marvellously beauntiful panorama of the Zillertal Alps.

Zillertalbahn

The Zillertal railway was built at a time when travelling by train was a real adventure. Nowadays there is still a special charm associated with riding on the nostalgic steam train.

Fun, action and speed await you on the first Alpine roller coaster in the Zillertal, the Arena Coaster in Zell am Ziller. The 1,450 m long coaster fun starts directly at the Zillertal Arena in Zell and promises to be the summer and winter attraction not only for children with quite a few waves, steep curves and jumps. A 360° gyro and a 540° gyro provide additional adrenaline.

FeuerWerk - Holz Erlebnis Welt

Experience wood with all your senses. By means of a personal audio-video guide - offered in six languages - you will learn a lot of interesting facts about the history of wood, CO2 emissions & pellet production. The tour ends in the Garden of the Air with an impressive panoramic view of the Zillertal mountains - a place of relaxation and recreation. In the SichtBAR you can reflect on what you have seen and heard while enjoying culinary delicacies.

Goldschaubergwerk Zell am Ziller

Feel how the inside of the mountain lives and experience 350 years of culture of this almost forgotten branch of industry in an impressive multimedia presentation in the gallery. The excursion starts at the Hochzeller Käsealm on the Hainzenberg (3 km above Zell am Ziller in the direction of Gerlos). Duration: approx. two hours
