Cattle drives in Tuxertal
Experience the golden autumn in all its glory!
When autumn arrives and the peaks of the Tuxer Hauptkamm are bathed in golden light, the magnificently decorated cows return to the valley from the high Alpine pastures. In Tux-Finkenberg, this moment is not only celebrated as the end of the alpine season, but also as an expression of the deep connection to the homeland and its traditions. The cows carry elaborately designed ‘Buschen’ and bells as they return to the valley from the mountain pastures.
